As we honor the Graduation of the Class of 2019 on May 18th we remember the class the class of 1949. Graduating 70 years ago. Their motto was "Fortune Favors the Brave" and they lived by that example. Class member Kenneth Threet, preached the Baccalaureate Service for his classmates beginning a long distinguished career in the Ministry completing his calling at the South Side Baptist Church
Jack Justus would latter become Vice President of the Arkansas Farm Bureau, serving on numerous bank and organization boards and being appointed by two Governors to the Arkansas Board of Career Opportunities.
Bob Wilmoth would stay in the community as a realtor, active community member and known an loved by all. His daughters Rhonda Renee' Honeycutt and Sherry Tomlinson are Sugarloaf members.
Wilma Brown's sister Eileen Brown was in the Class of 1939 and their brother Carl Brown retired in Lead Hill and is a Sugarloaf member.
