Lead Hill's Bruce Warren graduated in 1974. Many of you may remember evenings when you might stop by or pass his mother Mary’s South Lead Hill grocery/service station and see Bruce outside sometimes sitting on the hood of a car playing his guitar. Bruce kept playing guitar, but he also self-taught himself to play the Hammered Dulcimer. Playing the Hammered Dulcimer well enough to win 1979 National Hammered Dulcimer Championships. Talented in both the guitar and the Hammered Dulcimer, Bruce now a full-time entertainer. Bruce wrote, I've been playing music since the late 70s and play in bands (Irish, Bluegrass, etc.) and also solo--weddings, conventions, festivals, house concerts. Bruce Warren a role model for Lead Hill School Students who desire a career in music.
